One of the most common concerns clients have before starting a fountain project is not knowing what the delivery process involves and therefore not knowing what they are committing to. Here is exactly how a commercial fountain system installation project runs from start to finish.
Phase 1: Site Assessment and Brief.
We visit the site, assess water supply, electrical infrastructure, structural conditions, drainage, and audience sightlines. We then develop a detailed project brief that frames the entire scope fountain type, scale, show format, budget envelope, and timeline.
Phase 2: Concept Design and Approval.
Our fountain system design company team produces 3D visualizations, shows concept storyboards, and technical system outlines. The client reviews and approves before any engineering work begins.
Phase 3: Engineering and Programming Design.
Full hydraulic engineering, electrical design, pump and nozzle specifications, control system architecture, and digital musical fountain programming are completed. All disciplines are coordinated in a single set of construction documents.
Phase 4: Procurement and Fabrication.
Equipment is sourced from pumps, nozzles, LED systems, control hardware, audio systems. Custom elements like basin structures, underwater fixtures, and themed water features are fabricated to specification.
Phase 5: Civil Coordination and Installation.
Basin construction or integration into existing civil works is coordinated. All mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are installed, tested in isolation, and then integrated.
Phase 6: Show Programming and Commissioning
The digital musical fountain programming team creates show sequences, synchronizes lighting and audio, and runs full system integration testing. Motion sensors, music synchronization, and real-time control systems are configured and validated against the original show concept.
Phase 7: Handover and Training.
The client’s operations team receives full training on daily operations, show management, and maintenance procedures. All documentation, engineering drawings, equipment manuals, programming files, and commissioning reports are handed over.
The fountain then belongs to the client, working, documented, and ready to perform.
